Hi there. Thanks for visiting blog section of my site. I was inspired to create this section after attending a conference for Asian American Bloggers called Banana 2 in February 2011. I registered this domain, JapaneseBallPlayers.com in January 2001, so this site has been running for 10 years. Over the course of years, I’ve learned many interesting, or otherwise useless, tidbits, that caught my attention about Japanese players, or Asian players, including mixed race players or players who’s ancestors are from Asian country. I have always wished to keep those info somewhere, and thought of making memorandum section, but for one reason or other, I didn’t. Coming upon 10 year anniversary of the site, I figured if I posted something couple of times a month, it would still be a good collection of information in another 10 years. So, I decided to give it a try. (Also I have imported some of my personal writing from my blog here)
